Joey Huertas (aka Jane Public) started as a songwriter, lyricist, and drummer entrenched in the underground Hardcore Punk, Noise, experimental and Metal music scenes that defined CBGB's east coast, and left music to create experimental films and performances worldwide. Joey scores the soundscapes and music for all of his films and performances. Underlying the complexity of Joey Huertas' work is a profound sense of sardonic humor, political commentary and a fondness for flawed fictional characters.
